RADIANT HEATING - HEAT-RAD™ INDUSTRIAL HEATING SIZING GUIDE

< BACK

Heat-Rad - Industrial Heating System The HEAT-RAD™ industrial heating system is suitable for both full heating and also localised/spot heating.

Localised/Spot Heating
Higher radiant intensities are required where partial/spot heating is to be employed. To be fully effective, the installation height should be the minimum figure stated below for full heating systems, less 0.4m. Preferably use more than one heater giving radiation from at least two directions.

Full Heating
The table below gives an approximate sizing guide, however this is intended as a quick guide reference only and should not replace the facility offered by Horizon i.e. a full design heat loss calculation to determine the most economic combination of units/size required.

Gas Supply
HEAT-RAD industrial heating equipment is suitable for all types of gas e.g. Natural Gas, Propane, LPG and are easily converted from one gas to another.

Installation
Buy Heat-Rad equipment direct from the manufacturer for installation by local CORGI registered fitters, alternatively ask Horizon for a quotation for a fully installed industrial heating system.
