Vehicle Exhaust Extraction - Equipment/ System Selection
Single/Twin Systems for Cars/Light Commercials
Each system comprises nozzle, crushproof hose, fan/motor assembly,
exhaust to atmosphere ductwork, optional attachments - hose reel, manual
or motorised, spring balancer for hose. 200mm diameter systems available
for large vehicles and heavy plant.
Mobile Units
The Horizon-Future mobile unit Model MK1 is simple to use and is supplied
complete with mobile base, vertical support column with height adjustment,
exhaust fan/motor assembly and Neoprene nozzle. The exhaust hose length
is determined by site conditions.
Simply wheel the unit into position over the vehicle exhaust and switch
on. The unit is provided with a 0.55kw motor, the fan unit is rated at
1680 m3/hr.
Multi-Point System
Individually engineered to suit client's requirements, each exhaust extraction
point would be provided with a high level hose reel, manually or motorised
operation, with suitable end nozzle. The reels are interconnected by either
an adjustable rail system or a fixed system of exhaust ductwork to atmosphere.
At a suitable point a single large extraction fan/motor assembly is provided.
Nozzles would normally include a shut-off valve/lid so that when not in
use the reel is isolated from the general exhaust system.
Horizon offer a complete site survey, design service together with installation
and on-going maintenance.
